The Research Centre was established at the beginning of the 2013/2014 academic year, with assistant professor dr.sc. Mate Buntić appointed head of the Centre. The aim of the Centre is to achieve multiple and long-term goals and effects, not only at the Faculty and the University, but also in society in general; to strengthen the research approach to reality overall, first of all to the cultural, national, social and political reality.
The Lifelong Learning Centre
The Lifelong Learning Centre was established in October 2013. Among its current activities, the most prominent is the Programme for Acquiring Teaching Competences. It lasts one academic year and is worth 60 ECTS. It is intended for non-teaching oriented professionals, training to teach in primary and secondary schools. The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is planning various activities and programmes within the scope of the Centre in the near future.
The Centre for Political Science Research at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
The Centre for Political Science Research was founded at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in the autumn of 2016. Even though the Centre participates in a range of activities and pursues a number of aims, it places special emphasis on the development of Political Science and all its branches. In addition to promoting Political Science, the Centre also promotes other social and humanistic disciplines.

The Economic and Organisational Affairs Support Service
The Economic and Organisational Affairs Support Service provides three different categories of services:
Economic Affairs (petty cash transactions, maintains travel warrant records and payments, small material costs, public procurement, procurement and record of goods and services which do not fall under the public procurement category).
The Student Union is the highest student representative body at the University of Mostar. It was founded by the Administrative Council and the Senate of the University of Mostar in 2000, when the Code of Practice, the fundamental Union act, was adopted and the first student elections were held. The Student Union’s aim is to protect student rights and to promote their interests at both Faculty and University level. It is the only body with the legitimacy to represent all the students of the University to which it belongs.
