What is Global UGRAD

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) provides
approximately 250 undergraduate students from around the world with
U.S.-funded one-semester scholarships for non-degree, full-time academic
study at a U.S. college or university, combined with community service,
professional development workshops, and cultural enrichment activities.
Emerging leaders from over 60 countries, participants can expect an in-depth
exposure to U.S. society, culture, and academic institutions as well as an
opportunity to enhance their professional skills.  Global UGRAD also offers
students the opportunity to share their cultures and traditions with U.S.
colleagues and helps promote mutual understanding between the two nations.
